Estrid Razor Review – AD

I’m sure by now you will have seen the hype around Estrid razors as they’ve taken social media by storm. It’s the new cool girl razor brand that is not only absolutely stunning but designed specifically for women. They’re scandinavian made, which explains why they’re so sleek and beautiful, they’re fairly priced (thanks to their no strings attached subscription service, more on that later), cruelty free and also vegan.

If the beauty world has taught us anything in the last few years it’s that shaving is completely personal, whether you like to be as smooth as a baby seal, have a little bit of fuzz or a lot of fuzz that is everyone’s personal preference and Estrid fully support everyone’s choice.

As you can see, the razor is so cool, I have this beautiful blush shade but it also comes of 4 other shades, peach, cloud, space and lemonade. The handle is made from steel so feels really weighty and expensive and has a super smooth finish which makes it a dream to hold. The razor head has 5 blades which gives a really close and smooth shave, which you would normally only find with men’s razors. I also love the holder that sticks to your shower or where ever you fancy, which is ideal when you have children and want to keep it out of reach.

I mentioned that they’re affordable and also offer a no strings attached subscription so let me go into that. You can change the intervals of your subscription at any time, skip a delivery, pause or cancel with no strings attached. So if you don’t fancy shaving this month you can just skip a month and then start it up again whenever you like.

A starter kit is £7.95 and includes the razor, a wall holder and 2 x 5 blade cartridges, which is crazy affordable and you would probably pay that for a rubbish plastic razor from the supermarket.

Along with the razors they also sell a bunch of other beauty products. I love their body oil wash, because this also doubles up as a shaving oil as it contains sunflower, Cloudberry and almond oil. I find this leaves my skin feeling clean but also moisturised. They also have a body lotion, a shaving cream and a travel case that can be added to your order for £5.95.

So what do I think? I absoultely love Estrid. I love their efforts of working towards sustanability, from being 100% vegan (they don’t contain any animal products in the hydrating strips), having 100% recycled packaging, and the handle and holder are made from steel designed to last a lifetime, meaning you don’t have to replace them as often as a normal razor. Along with their principles I just love the product. I love how the razor feels and how good of a shave you get. So it’s a hit from me.

When shopping at Estrid if you use the code ‘thislondonlife‘ and extra £1 will be donated to the organisation ‘Fawcett Society, who work towards womans rights in the UK.
