Wilderness Reserve with Fresh Beauty

The Wilderness Reserve

You will have recently seen on my Instagram that I was luckily whisked off to the absolutely stunning Wilderness Reserve for an overnight stay with one of my favourite skincare brands, Fresh Beauty. I took so many pictures from the 2 days we were there that I thought I’d put them all in one blog post and I did a poll on my Instagram stories and the majority also wanted a blog post, so here you go! I’ll warn you, it’s pretty lengthy so grab a cup of tea and settle in.

The Wilderness Reserve

I’d never heard of the Wilderness Retreat before but as soon as I looked it up online I knew I was going to love it. It’s situated on 100 acres of land and has the most stunning collection of huge and cozy boutique cottages I’ve ever seen. We stayed in The Walled Gardens, which is an enormous 8 bedroom cottage which was beautifully stunning and grand but was also made to feel cosy with all the little details dotted around.

When we arrived we were given a bit of time to settle into our rooms and unpack a little, but all I did was run around taking pictures of everything the Fresh team had laid out for us. We were each given the softest and fluffiest personalised white dressing gowns and possibly every single Fresh product ever made all beautifully placed around the bedroom and bathroom. They also put all the stops out with stunning flowers laid out everywhere, and let me tell you, that is the way to my heart!

The idea of the overnight stay was that the team had arranged different activities during the 2 days to celebrate their most favourite products. First on the agenda was a lunch and let me tell you, the spread was something else! We all piled our plates high with all the buffet food and then retreated to the garden to stuff our faces whilst looking at the insanely beautiful country view.

After we filled our bellies we then put on our swimming costumes and popped down to the pool (yes it was hot enough in the UK to enjoy an outdoor pool!!) and wait until we were called for our facials.

The Wilderness Reserve

This part of the day was all focused around the Rose Face Mask, which is a luxurious hydrating mask that contains real rose petals and restores radiance to the skin. Once the facials were done we had a little bit of time to chill out, drink some iced coffee and lounge around in the conservatory.

Also, being the blogger than I am I also used this time to take lots of photos, because I’m incapable of being somewhere lovely and not wanting to take a million pictures! But at least I get to share them all with you!

Next on the agenda was truffle making, in what can only be described as my kitchen of dreams! We all popped on our aprons and got messy decorating truffles.

This part was to celebrate one of my favourite products the Brown Sugar Body Polish, which is the most delicious scrub I’ve ever used in my life. The grains of the scrub are made from brown sugar crystals, which helps to remove dry skin but also the sugar helps to keep moisture in the skin.

I’d never actually made truffles before but I was amazed at how easy it was, which is dangerous because it means they’ll be easy to make at home! I was also pretty impressed with how pretty mine looked when they were in the box!

After this we had a super quick outfit change into some incredible bright blue Hunter wellies and headed into the woods for a bonfire, cocktails and marshmallow toasting!

The idea behind this section of the day was for the Black Tea range, which is one that I haven’t tried before and is meant to induce moisture and radiance. We all sat around the fire, sipping cocktails, roasting marshmallows and ate endless canapés as it turned into golden hour, which was just positively dreamy!

We headed back to the cottage for a speedy quick change for dinner where we were then greeted by an incredible floral transformation in the dinning room for a candle lit dinner.

We had course after course of more amazing food and then the lovely Fresh team revealed their brand new fragrance, Rose Morning that they have launched exclusively at the one and only Harrods! It’s what I would describe as a grown up rose fragrance as it’s not overly floral and has a mix of musk in it.

After chatting long after the food had been taking away we finally all retreated back to our bedrooms and even though it was super late I just couldn’t help but run myself a super hot bath to use all the incredible products that had been left for us. I made my self a cup of peppermint tea, filled the bath with the Sugar Lemon Bath & Shower Gel (which has fast become one of my favourite products) totally relaxed.

The next morning I woke up feeling like I’d been on a week long relaxing holiday and rolled out of my room for a quick morning meditation and face mask using the Lotus Youth Reserve Rescue Mask

We then made our way back to the conservatory and garden to be greeted by yet again another feast of incredible food. I mean look at that spread. As you can see by the breakfast there were a lot of oranges and this was to highlight the final product of the trip the Vitamin Nectar mask and moisturiser.

Well done if you got to the end of this post, I know it was a long one but as you can probably tell I had the most incredible few days visiting the Wilderness Reserve and learning the in’s and out’s of a brand I already loved. I’ve popped some links to my favourite tried and tested products from Fresh in case you wanted to have a little look!
