As the majority of you guys who read my blog are female and around my age, and probably have similar taste to me, I thought the best gift guide to do this year would be one that contains my very favourite products from the year along with my favourite Christmas gift sets. I got a bit carried away with the photos for this post because they're so pretty and pink and festive so please bare with me, but if you're here for the links to the products in the images then scroll all the way down to the bottom of the post. If like me you enjoy a pretty flat lay then I hope along with my gift selections you also enjoy the images below.

Marks & Spencer Christmas Gift Guide

It's officially time to start Christmas shopping, hopefully you were a bit better than I was and actually managed to pick up gifts for other people than yourself during the Black Friday sales. If not, then I've got some good news for you, you can do all of your shopping for all the family (and friends) in M&S as they have an enormous Christmas gift selection. I'm a big fan of M&S, for their beauty selection, clothes, underwear and food, so it doesn't really surprise me that their festive gifts are also incredible. I've selected a few of the items that caught my eye that would be suitable for both men and women and put them together in a cute little gift guide post for you.

For the Beauty Lover:
As I mentioned I've always loved their beauty section and this year they have the most lovely beauty gift sets that are suitable for so many ages. I absolutely love the nail polish gift set, which contains 8 really versatile nail polishes in really festive shades. These kinds of sets were always my absolutely favourite thing to receive as a teenager but being a nail polish junkie now I'd also love to receive it at this age. If you know someone that loves beauty crackers then M&S have some really affordable and adorable crackers with mini lip glosses, nail polish and nail file in. They're also chic enough if you want some understated crackers on the table for Christmas dinner.
The other beauty item that caught my eye from their beauty hall was this stunning jewel bath foam, which I just think looks so incredibly stunning with the purple and gold design. M&S bubble bath always reminds me of my grandma because we would always buy her some for Christmas, so it feels like such a nostalgic gift.

For Homebody:
Something I love about M&S is they do home wear and things to make the home cosy really well. With this in mind I picked up the grumpy stag mug that also comes with a shower gel. I thought this was lovely because I think it can be a gift for men and also women. You all know that I'm a big luxury candle fan, but I also love finding affordable home scents that don't cost the world but still fill a room with beautiful fragrance. M&S have such a lovely selection of candles that smell so good, but I particularly love their festive fragrances at the moment especially the Mandarine, Clove and Cinnamon scent. Something all homebodies need are a snuggly pair of slipper socks and and foot cream and the Up To Snow Good gift set is just the cutest stocking filler for the cosy home lover.

For Him:
Finally, because we can't leave the men out I've picked a few bits and bobs that I think will work for so many different men in your life. M&S for gifts for men definitely feels like a one stop shop and I feel like any of the gifts I picked could be given to my husband, brother and dad. They currently have so many wash bag gift sets, which are so affordable, but my favourite one is the grey tweed style one because it's such good quality and also comes with two travel sized shower gels. The other gift set I love is their mini grooming set with scissors, a small brush, beard wax and beard oil. These are just my favourite two but they have so many more and I also think this leather, wooden spice set looks so expensive but again such an affordable price!

Hopefully this post has inspired you to start you Christmas shopping if you haven't already but also to check out the M&S Beauty Hall for their insane selection of gifts. How good have you been at buying Christmas gifts this year?

Black Friday Deals

I bloody love a deal, but then who doesn't and I love the with each year that goes by more and more brands get involved with the Black Friday deals. It's the perfect time before Christmas where you can pick up some early xmas presents but also just in time to buy some party pieces for the festive season. Without blabbing away too much I'll just get straight into the post. Each year I put together a round up post of all the best Black Friday deals in one comprehensive post because I find this useful for myself to go back to but also I think other people find these helpful too. Okay, so without further a do, here are the best deals going around at the moment - I will try and keep this as updated as I can as and when more deals are released!

Missguided are doing their usual 50% off with the code BABE50 and they also have 30% off with student discount as it looks like the 50% is only off selected things. They tend to update they deals so I will try and keep this as up to date as possible. Here are my favourite picks of theirs at the moment including this furry coat of dreams available in a bunch of different colours, which as you can tell from my Instagram I'm a big fan of the faux fur!

River Island have up to 40% off selected lines and they've said that they're going to keep adding deals over the next few days. These boots are freakin stunning and only £40, if I didn't have some basically identical I'd invest in these.

Accessorize currently have 30% off bags, and lets face it, they do incredible sparkley party season bags and with 30% off it makes them super affordable.

ASOS have 20% off everything and also up to 60% off shoes and accessories here. Then I've just put together a bunch of my current favourite pieces that I have saved ready to purchase.

Karen Millen very excitedly have 25% of everything at the moment, which I had to try and resist when walking past their shop on the way home yesterday.

Boohoo have a random 22% off everything with the code TREAT.

The White Company have 20% off almost everything, and I basically wait for their discounts before I buy anything. I love almost everything they do, they're perfect for towels, candles, bedding, pjs and baby gifts. Here are a few of my favourite bits:

Topshop have up to 50% off SO many of their amazing pieces, if you watched my Instagram stories you will have already seen what I've bought, but he's a little preview of my fave bits below:

Anthropologie have 20% off EVERYTHING with free delivery - this is basically the one I wait for with Black Friday because it means I can stock up on some of my favourite festive bits and it's great for peoples Christmas presents:

Missoma is possibly one of my favourite jewellery brands and they currently have 25% off. I love the Lucy Williams collection but basically all of the necklaces are my dream. I've linked the necklace that I have and have worn to death!

The Ultimate Cosy Pamper Night In

Pamper Night

It's that time of year, when the nights are drawing in and theres nothing better than having a cosy night in with candles and your favourite pampering products. These evenings are some of my favourite things to do in winter because after all, it is the season to be cosy.

To start my pamper evenings I always, always light a few candles, because it's definitely not a pamper evening without some dreamy candles. As you all know my forever go to candles are the ones from Jo Malone. I'm currently loving the Orange Blossom as it feels like such a cosy scent, but I think it's almost time to start switching to the deeper and more musky scents in time for Christmas. Next up a cosy night in wouldn't be complete without a bath whilst watching Netflix. I'm a huge lover of pretty much all of the Lush products, particularly their bath bombs and bubble bars. One of my favourite bath bombs in the butterbear because it leaves your skin feeling so smooth and silky. Whilst in the bath I always use the time to do a face mask or two. One of my go to masks is the Charlotte Tilbury Godness Clay Mask because I feel like it brings out impurities but also nourishes the skin too so it's not left feeling too stripped. To make sure my skin is super hydrated, after a purifying mask I will then always do a hydrating one. I've recently been really enjoying the Exotic Cream Moisturising Mask, which leaves my skin super soft.

After my little bath pamper session and to make my skin feel even more loved, I love using a hydrating mist. /my two faves are the forever loved Caudalie Beauty Elixir and the Elizabeth Arden 8-Hour Hydrating Mist. Next I move onto a serum, I love the Clarins Double Serum to provide an extra layer of moisture into my skin. To finish off my skincare routine for the past probably 4 months I've been using the Sisley Black Rose Skin Infusion Cream. I honestly cannot tell you how much I love this stuff, it's the most hydrating moisturiser I've ever used and just makes my skin feel incredible. I'm not quite sure what I'll do when it runs out!

For body pampering I've got two current favourites, I love the Clinique Deep Comfort moisturiser because it applies so easily and I love the handy pump which makes it super quick to apply. My other go to is the body creams from Jo Malone, they're so luxurious and I absolutely love going to bed smelling like my favourite perfume.

Moving onto nails, finishing a pamper session with fresh new nails is just the best. As we're moving into winter I've started to bring out the reds and burgundy shades and I love the new Marc Jacobs Nail Lacqure in Tarx as its the perfect deep red shade. Finally to finish off all the pampering in preparation for the best nights sleep ever, I slather my hands in the L'Occitane Intensive Hand Balm, apply a nice thick layer of one of the Kiehls Butterstick Lip Treatments and spritz my pillow in the This Works Deep Sleep pillow spray.

What are your favourite products for the ultimate cosy pamper night in?

10 Things I've Learnt From Planning A Wedding

So you may have noticed that things have been pretty quiet on the old blog front recently, well that's because I've been planning my wedding! As I also work full time wedding planning seems to have taken the place that writing my blog used to. We get married in a couple of weeks (omg) and touch wood I'm feeling pretty okay about everything. I kind of feel like I'm at the right point to write about what I've learnt from the process, because boy oh boy have I learnt a lot. Planning a wedding is an absolute rollercoaster and when I'm on the other side I'll let you know whether the stress is all worth it (which I'm told it totally is). So without further ado here is what I've learnt so far.

1. I'm a real perfectionist. I think I always kind of knew this because of how anal I am around my Instagram images but the wedding has really shown me how I'm not really happy with something unless it's exactly how I want it in my head. I don't think theres anything wrong with being a perfectionist but I think maybe knowing when to let stuff go is a good thing to learn as well, which I definitely have through this process.

2. Everything costs a lot of money, like a lot! Because I've had friends who have gotten married, I knew roughly how much things would cost, but my god weddings are expensive. If something is for a wedding, expect to pay 3x the normal price you would normally pay. The way that we managed this was we chose the things we knew we wanted to spend the money on and splurged on them and then tried to save on other bits. For example, after the venue we're probably spending the most money on flowers, but that's because I absolutely love flowers so much and because of the style of wedding and venue we will have we just feel that they will make such a big impact.

3. Pinterest will become you best friend. I could not even tell you how many hours of my life I have spent on Pinterest, I just know it would be ridiculous. I would say it's probably one of the best places for getting inspiration from for everything from flowers, bridesmaid dresses to what style of wedding you would want. It honestly is perfect for wedding planning.

4. Rock My Wedding is the best thing ever! After Pinterest I would advise that any new bride to check out Rock My Wedding. On part of their website they feature 3 new weddings everyday and it's honestly the best inspiration ever. I would say it probably where most of my inspiration for our wedding has come from as they only feature the most stunning weddings and you can see how to style different parts of the wedding. We are planning to have a lot of different sections to our wedding as all the inspiration has either come from this website or Pinterest.

5. I've really appreciated the people in my life - I've been so over whelmed by how much people want to help with the wedding. My mum has been absolutely amazing, and I'm not sure I could have planned a wedding without her and then my bridesmaids have also been so helpful. People really just want to help in anyway they can and it's so so lovely.

6. People love to talk about a wedding. This kind of ties into the point above but everyone loves to talk about a wedding. This can be quite hard when you're having a stressful week but it is also absolutely lovely as well because people are genuinely so happy for you and so interested in hearing about the big day.

7. There is a lot to plan and think about. I know this goes without saying but there really is a ridiculous amount of planning that goes into arranging a wedding. I don't know if it's because I'm such a perfectionist but I am planning every single tiny last detail and I think I'm doing this because when I take blog photos I know what a huge difference a tiny thing can make. My plan though is to make sure everything is taken care of up until the day before and then on the day just forget about it and have fun, because I will have done everything I can do.

8. There will be highs and lows. There have been times where I've absolutely loved planning the wedding and then times that I've been so ridiculously stressed that I just don't think I can do it all (but I think that is mainly because I also work full time and run my blog and generally have too many things on). Just know though, if you're planning a wedding and are going through a low it get easier and things will fall into place.

9. If you're creative you'll love making all the little bits and bobs. I have to say, my favourite parts have been when I've physically been making some of the DIY bits. I love being creative so this has been my absolute favourite part of the wedding, which is probably why I've spent so much time on Pinterest!

10. There is a wedding to fit every style. What I found really hard when I first starting was I couldn't really find a wedding that would work for what myself and Tristan wanted, and then after some research and chatting to people I realised that you can essentially make your wedding fit to you. We're doing a few things a bit differently but I think it's important to make your wedding as personal as you can because when it comes down to it, it's your big day with the person you want to spend the rest of your life with.

So those of the things I've learnt so far. I'm planning to do a bunch of different blog posts actually after the wedding as I've found other peoples posts so useful, so keep an eye out for those. Also let me know if there is anything specific that you would like to see around wedding content!

Benefit Christmas Gift Sets

If you've been reading my blog for a while you will know that I've been a fan of Benefit products and their kits for years. Before I started the blog Benefit gift sets were always on of my favourite beauty gifts to receive around Christmas and Birthday's because when they're products are shrunk down to miniatures they're absolutely adorable and generally the aesthetic of the gift sets are so pretty.
