Charlotte Tilbury Hot Lips Collection

It feels like Charlotte Tilbury can do no wrong, especially when it comes to anything lip related. She recently launched her Hot Lips Collection, which is a range of lipsticks all dedicated to different celebrities and it's safe to say there is a shade to suit every skin type. The shades range from super nudes to the deepest of berries. Pictured above are the shades Liv It Up (a really pink, everyday pink), Kidman's Kiss (a more nude shaded pink), and Miranda May (an orange toned pink).

Along with the lipsticks shown in this post I also absolutely love Very Victoria and Secret Salma, but lets face it, it would be hard to find a shade that isn't beautiful!

The lipsticks come in the classic CT gold, ridged packaging and what I love about the Hot Lips Collection is that each shade has the in print of lips on the front of the lipstick. I think the Hot Lips collection has been rolled out to all stores stocking Charlotte Tilbury now, but if you haven't been to the stand alone store in Covent Garden I would definitely recommend a trip, as it's absolutely beautiful!

For Fall, Clarins have launched some of their prettiest packaging to date for some new products and new shades of old favourite products. Starting with lips there are three new shades of the Instant Light Natural Lip Perfectors in the shades Orange Shimmer, Pink Shimmer and Red Shimmer.  I absolutely adore the Clarins Instant Light Lip Perfectors they're the best in between product for a lipgloss with a bit more colour and a lip balm and they're so easy to quickly apply to the lips. All shades add a slight bit of colour to the lips so even if you think orange and red might be too bright for  you, I'd still give these a go as they're lovely and subtle.

Next as part of the lip launches, they've brought out a new Daily Energiser Beauty Balm, which I'm just absolutely in love it. It's similar to the Instant Lip Balm Perfectors in that it reacts to the pH of your lips to produce a unique tint to the lips. On me this turns quite rosey pink but on someone else it could be really peachy. The lip balm is packed full of shea butter and cocao to provide up to 8 hours of hydration and leave your lips feeling super soft.

Lastly as part of this beautifully packaged launch is three new fragrances of the Hand and Nail Treatment Creams. The new scents come in a pack of three 30ml limited edition hand creams in a lovely little canvas bag. There is a Fig Leaf scent, White Tea Leaf and Orange Blossom, each being absolutely delicious! As with the original Hand and Nail Treatment, the creams are super nourishing and don't feel at all greasy on the hands. It's actually one of the creams I consistently keep on my desk, which is saying something!

YSL Rouge Pur Couture The Mats Lipsticks Review

YSL is up there as being one of the prettiest brands out there with their gold sleek packing and the black YSL accents making no make up station is complete without it. They recently released their Rouge Pur Couture The Mats collection, which is a range of stunning matte lipsticks in a huge variety of shades. I've recently been having a play with them and along with looking pretty they also look really beautiful on the lips. I don't always tend to opt for matte lipsticks as I find that they can be quite drying on the lips and dry matte lipstick is never a good look! What I love about this range is that because they contain jojoba oil you can wear the lipstick for hours without any hint of flaky dry skin, which is so hard to find in a matte lipstick!

Along with being moisturising each lipstick also contains a huge amount of pigmentation and last up to 6 hours on the lips, which again is something you want with a matte lipstick as once it's been applied I generally don't like to keep toping up!

The collection comes in a huge range of shades, my favourite being 215, which is just a dream to look at and wear.
