Burberry Christmas Collection

There are a very few brands where I look forward to their Christmas releases all year round, and Burberry is absolutely one of them. Each year they vamp up their packaging to a luxe yellow gold shade and release the most beautiful limited edition products. The range consists of a limited edition eyeshadow quad, letter box red lipstick, lip glosses, single pot eyeshadows, nail polishes, and both liquid and powder highlighters

The stand out product for for this year is the Eyeshadow Palette in the shade Gold Shimmer. As the name suggests it's a mixture of bronze and gold shades, with 3 eyeshadows and 1 liner. The packing is also absolutely stunning with the classic Burberry criss cross design etched into the beautiful gold packaging. A new product from the collection this year is the single pot of gold chunky glitter, which absolutely screams Christmas and festivities. Then the last product for the eyes in the velvet soft, Eye Colour Cream single pot eyeshadow in the shade Gold Shimmer, which adds a beautiful wash of gold to the lids.

Moving onto lips, Burberry have once again brought out their oh so stunning Parade Red, Burberry Kisses lipstick, which is such a pretty and flattering bright red. Also for the lips they have their Burberry Festive Kisses Lip Gloss also in the shade Parade Red. The lip gloss is actually infused with tea and rosehip to nourish dry lips, which is exactly what you need during the festive period when you're wanting to wear a bright lip.

Something Burberry always do really well is face products. Probably one of my all time favourite products is the Fresh Glow Luminous Skin Base. It's kind of like a liquid highlighter but muted down so you can use it all over your face. I find that it just adds a layer of natural glow to the skin that I'm not able to achieve with any other product. For Christmas, this product gets a make over in the classic gold packaging but is also available all year round, so don't worry if you miss out on the Christmas edition. Another glowing product is the Gold Glow Luminous Finish Powder, which again adds a really subtle glow, but in powder form.

If you're quick there's still quite a lot of the products from this range available, which would arrive in perfect timing for New Years Eve!

Gifts For The Home Lover

Being someone that constantly lives in West Elm and Anthropology at the moment I thought I would put together a gift guide for the home lover because not everyone likes beauty. I'm absolutely obsessed with the christmas plates from Anthropologie at the moment, so much so that I've been back to buy more, they sold out over Black Friday weekend but I think they're back now. I'm equally in love with everything from Rifle Paper Co and have just received a heafty order I recently made but I think they're designs are beautiful and worth every penny. And then a home gift guide wouldn't be complete without a few Jo Malone bits and bobs!

Along with the gifts shown in the images above I've also popped a bunch of other beautiful gifts below! Happy shopping guys!

Afternoon Tea at Sketch

Earlier last week you may have seen all over my Instagram stories that I had a delightful afternoon tea at Sketch. Sketch is one of those magical places in London that everyone has heard of and has either been or it's on the top of their To Go list. The pink room specifically in Sketch is what the venue is so famous for and it's easy to see why. Absolutely everything is pink, from the plush velvet chairs, to the walls and ceiling, it really is the dream.

To mark the occasion of having afternoon tea in an entirely pink dining room I decided to take my new baby pink Valentino Glam Rock Bag out for a whirl. This pretty little thing is from Farfetch and I couldn't think of a more perfect location to take it. I paired it with my pale grey waterfall coat from Zara last year, but I've managed to find one almost identical from Dorothy Perkins. My boots are from Emu Australia and are the snuggliest thing ever as they're lined with Merino wool which makes them so comfortable to walk in. Almost like you're wearing slippers outside, and who doesn't want that?!

For Christmas Sketch have transformed the front of the venue into a winter wonderland. You walk through a canopy of snow dusted trees until you reach the pink dining room, and then if you've been to Sketch before you'll know that they have the coolest toilets ever and they've even turn that area into a winter wonderland.

We had their traditional afternoon tea with champagne and for my tree I had the Christmas Chai, which I'd highly recommend. This is also one of those afternoons teas where you can keep asking for your favourite part to be refilled. If you're looking for a festive afternoon tea in a special location I'd recommend trying to book sketch, you won't regret it.

Thanksgiving and Black Friday go hand in hand in the US and while us Brits don't get to celebrate with Turkey we do get to enjoy the huge Black Friday sales. I think it was last year that we really got into the full swing of Black Friday in the UK and this year it's set to be even bigger with huge discounts both online and on the high street.

This Black Friday I'm working with the amazing Beauty Bay to let you all know that they're giving a HUGE discount of up to 30% off some of their biggest brands. To celebrate this I've picked 4 products I've always wanted to try from the brands being discounted to show you exactly what you can save on.

Starting with Skincare, there is currently 20% off Oskia, which is one of my favourite skincare brands, and having tried a few items from the range I thought I would give one of their serums a go. I chose the Super 16 Advanced Nutri-Active Collagen Serum as the cold weather has left my skin feeling so incredibly dry and really in need of some moisture. The serum is a blend of 16 super nutrients and Bio-Actives, which work to increase the production of Collagen.

Moving onto make up, Kevyn Aucoin is a brand that I've always wanted to try but never quite got round to it and they currently have an offer of 20% off. The first thing I picked was the Celestial Powder, as so many people have raved about this and I thought it would be perfect for party season. Next I picked the Essential Eye Shadow Palette in the absolutely stunning Bloodroses shade. I'm a huge fan of deep plum shades and for me this palette is the perfect mix for this with the addition of some neutral shades too - perfect for the party season.

The last brand I chose to pick from was Fairy Drops, currently 30% off and I picked up their Scandal Queen Mascara, which is a product that I have heard so much about, and being a fan of big, volumous lashes I just had to give this a try.

Now over to you! The discount is now live over on Beauty Bay and is automatically applied, so no codes are needed. As it's close to the glitzy party season you could pick some bits up for yourself or some Christmas presents for friends and family!
