Current Skincare Favourites

I'm always adding in extra products into my skincare routine to try and find a set of products to give me perfect skin. Now I'm not saying that I have perfect skin but I am pretty in love with all the products I've been using over the past few months. To start with I've found two products that make removing make up an absolute dream. Nip & Fab do these incredible make up removing pads which literally remove all eye make up in minutes. They're also super moisturising as they have contain kale & watercress so are really soft of the eye area. To remove the rest of the make up on my face I've been using the Elizabeth Arden Ceramide Replenishing Cleansing Oil, which melts away make up with minimal effort. It contains a whole mix of essential oils, which I find really nourishes my dehydrated winter skin and leaves it feeling silky and smooth.

The mask I've been loving at the moment is the Charlotte Tilbury Goddess Skin Clay mask, which gives you baby soft skin in a matter of minutes. It's a really thick mask that contains almond oil to moisturise, Rosehip Oil to regenerate and restore you skin and something called a Bio Nymph Peptide Complex to improve skin elasticity. The reason I love this mask is I find that my make-up just sits a lot better on my skin the next day and my pores look much smaller.

Once my make up is removed and I've applied a mask I like to use a really intensive eye cream to really look after my under eye area. The Sunday Riley Start Over Active Eye Cream contains a real concoction of ingredients to look after that area. I find that it just leaves the area feeling a little more lifted and plumped and hopefully prevents any fine lines from appearing in the future. Lastly is the Mario Badescu Seaweed Night Cream, which is a really thick and hydrating night cream that I think leaves my skin looking really smooth.

Soap & Glory Christmas Gifts

When it comes to the high street there is one brand that completely kick ass for Christmas gift sets and for me that's Soap & Glory. This year I feel like they have totally outdone themselves bringing gifts where there's something for everyone at different price points. Along with the beautiful cute packaging what I love about the S&G gift sets the value for money is amazing, so it's the perfect time to stock up on favourites. The stand out gift set for me this year is the Christmas cracker set that contains 6 stunningly wrapped Christmas crackers containing 6 of their mini shower gels.

Whats great about their ranges is that if you love a certain product or a certain scent them you can get a whole gift set tailored to what you love. For example I think their body butters are amazing, they're really moisturing and the scent lingers around for hours, so their Three Times Butter gift set is perfect for me.

As Christmas is now only a matter of days away now, crazy I know and you're short for time I'd recommend picking up any of the Soap & Glory gift sets for a quick and easy present that any beauty lover would love!

Faux Fur Black Coat

It's now cold enough to get away with huge faux fur fluffy coats without getting to hot and flustered, except for when you get on the tube that is. My teddy bear coat this year is from Urban Outfitters and is an oversized, fluffy dream. I find that adding faux fur to any outfit adds a level of luxe and can dress up anything. I love wearing oversize coats with super skinny jeans and knee high boots as I think it balances out the bulkiness on top. This year is that the faux fur coat trend has come back with a vengeance and that means almost all shops are selling them so you can get your hands on one whatever your budget. What's great about this one is that UO also do a very similar coat but in white, for when you want to dress up as a snow bunny, and p.s. it's in the sale!

Diptyque Sapin Christmas Candle

Diptyque Sapin Christmas Candle

Diptyque Sapin Christmas Candle

You know I love candles, I have so many candles that I have spare back up ones hidden in cupboards and draws. But that's not what this post is about, we'll save that story for another day. This post is about the stunning Diptyque Christmas Candle in Sapin. Diptyque always bring out the most beautiful Christmas candles and this year is not different. There are 3 new releases to chose from and I have been getting into the festive spirit with Sapin, which can only be described as the perfect scent of a Christmas tree.

It contains notes of pine, mandarin zest and leaves which results in the most Christmassy smelling candle. And as with all Diptyque candles it really throws out scent that fills the entire room and lingers for hours. Out of the 3 I would say Sapin is my favourite purely because I think it perfectly captures the smells of a real pine Christmas tree and fresh oranges, which to me screams Christmas.

Tarte Holiday Gift Sets

Tarte is one of my favourite brands, I've tried my fair share of their products over the years and find that I constantly recommend them to friends. Their gift sets for 2015 are pretty special and probably some of my favourites from this year. The sets include a 5 piece brush set, which contains 5 of the softest brushes you've ever felt with one being double ended, so technically it's 6 brushes! I also love the mini Amazonian clay blush set as these are such amazing quality blushers that genuinely last a really long time on the skin and blend really well.

However, I would say the highlight from Tarte this year is their Portable Palette set, which contains 4 different palettes, an Amazonian Clay Mascara (which is AMAZING), a lip products and a box to put each of the palettes in for only £35! I absolutely love the idea of being able to change which shades you put in the palette as it gives you so many more options. Each section contains 4 decent sized eyeshadows and a large blush size, so it's perfect for travelling.

If you're looking for that extra special gift this year for a beauty lover then have a look at all the gift offerings from Tarte as I personally think they're really affordable and such good value for money/

Clarins Comfort Lip Oils

Clarins Comfort Lip Oils

Clarins Comfort Lip Oils

I'm somewhat of a lip product/lip balm junkie I hate the feeling of dry chapped lips and we're currently in the prime time for flakey sore lips. With London getting colder and colder I've recently fallen in love with the Clarins Instant Comfort Lip Oils, which are to most comfortable soothing products to apply to the lips. I think the word oil is quite misleading as the texture is much more like a thick balm without the stickyness. Clarins brought these out last year but as limited edition and due to popular demand they have now been permanently added.

There are two scents: Raspberry which has a lovely pink tint and Honey, which is my personal favourite as it adds a light shine to the lips and smells divine! Along with how luxurious it feels the actual applicator is so dreamy. It's a huge foam like applicator that almost hugs your lip when you apply the oil and just makes using the product so enjoyable. This has definitely been one of my handbag staples over the past month or so and I can't see it going anywhere!
