Summer Perfumes

I love fragrance and I love using it for different seasons and different moods, thats why when the seasons change I always switch up the scents I use. I'm sure it's no surprise that I opt for light, floral and fruity scents in the summer, I feel like they're really uplifting and make you feel like you're on holiday.

This year I've discovered a few new summer scents and I've been absolutely loving them. Firstly is Elizabeth Arden Untold Eau Fraîche, which is such an uplifting floral scent. It contains a mixture of citrus, floral and musk notes to give a really unique scent.

Two fragrances which are quite literally a holiday in a bottle are Estee Lauder Bronze Goddess and Elie Saab Resort. Bronze Goddess is a beauty blogger cult favourite and has the most beautiful scent of coconut to truly transport you onto a tropical island. Elie Saab Resort is meant to transport you to the Mediterranean and with top notes of Fig and Orange Blossom it's definitely the perfect holiday perfume.

Lastly is an old favourite of mine, Jo Malone Blackberry and Bay. I think this is a scent that can be worn throughout the year, however I think in the summer this scent really comes into it's own. The notes of sharp blackberries make you feel like you're on a woodland walk on a beautiful summers day whilst the Bay adds a bit of depth to the scent.

Are there any perfumes you always wear in the summer?

  1. I did a post like this and here are my picks -

  2. I've heard that the estee lauder brone goddess it perfect for summer, I really want to give it a try and see what the fuss is about! I use jo malone wood sage and sea salt, but that's more a signature scent at the moment! I think Tom Ford's perfume is perfect for the summer, I'm not sure if it's just called tom ford or not as it's my sisters and i sneak a spritz now and again, but it's the perfume in the dark blue bottle? haha!

    1. I LOVE Bronze Goddess for summer, it smells just like a coconut cocktail. I haven't really tried Jo Malone Wood Sage & Sea Salt in the perfume but the candle of it is beautiful! xx

  3. I can't believe it took me so long to try the Estee Lauder Bronze Goddess perfume, I literally spritz it everyday now! I think it's one of the fragrances that you need to smell a few times before you fall in love, that's what happened with me anyway ;)

  4. I had a sniff of Bronze Goddess in Duty free and now I'm bitterly regretting not buying it! I love the sound of Jo Malone Blackberry and Bay - it's not one I've seen about too much :) xx
