An Ode to Charlotte Tilbury

Charlotte Tilbury Make Up

I still remember when Charlotte Tilbury launched, there was so much buzz around these new products and the woman behind them! Over the past year I’ve completed fallen head over heels for the whole line so I wanted to dedicate a whole post to it and highlight the products I would recommend. I think Charlotte Tilbury has to be up there with the most beautiful make up lines for both the products and the packaging. As the products are really on the pricey side I see this make-up as special occasion make up and products to treat yourself to for Christmas and Birthdays.

Over the past year I’ve tried a fair few of CT products and if I have to recommend only one it would be the quad eye shadow palettes. They come in a range of different shades to suit all eye colours and the pigment is incredible. One thing I love about the the palettes is they’re all designed to achieve specific looks like The Golden Goddess, Vintage Vamp, Uptown Girl and lots more. My favourite looks are The Sophisticate and The Golden Goddess. The palette I have is paired with the Golden Goddess look and contains a mixtures of bronzed and champagney shades.

I also raved about the Eyes to Mesmerise Shadow pots, which come in the most beautiful shades. I’ve written a whole post on those already so head over to thereif you would like to know more.

My second favourite product is the Pillow Talk Lip Liner. It’s the most beautiful nude lip shade with a super creamy texture that lasts for hours on end. This was the first product I tried from the brand and it’s what convinced me to delve further into the line.

As you can probably tell I could talk about CT all day long but the best thing I could recommend is actually going to the counter at Selfridges and getting the make-up artists to talk you through the products and actually try them on you. That way you get to see the products on your skin and actually have a play around with them.
