Sunday Riley Skincare

Sunday Riley is one of those brands that I've lusted after ever since it landed in Space NK. It's a huge favourite at many of the high end fashion shows at fashion week with many models having an entire Sunday Riley facial before they hit the runway. You know if designers are using it on super models before their shows it damn good stuff.

The first product I tried from the range was the Ceramic Slip Cleanser, which is actually the most affordable product from the brand at £35. It's a gel based foaming clay cleanser that is rich in Vitamin C and essential oils to give the skin a real boost and pick me up. I normally really do not like foaming cleansers but this is only a mildly foaming cleanser. I would say that it leaves the skin feeling a little bit tight but nothing too harsh, I guess it's essentially like a mild clay mask. It aims to minimise pores and give a flawless complexion whilst stimulating collagen and circulation. The french green clay is the ingredient that tightens pores and removes impurities whilst Vitamin C boosts radiance, black pepper improves stimulation, jasmine soothes and frankincesnse tones. I find that the morning after I use this my skin just looks... well better. Everything looks a little tighter and I have a lovely glow to my skin and so far this hasn't given me any redness or dry spots.

Another product I've been loving is the Start Over Active Eye Treatment, which for an eye cream is absolutely huge. It costs £65 but when you think you use the smallest amount of eye cream the actual cost per use is similar to cheaper products. It has a gel like texture and corrects dark circles, reduces puffy eyes and damaged skin. It contains a whole host of skin loving ingredients including Vitamin C, Licorice, Algae, and Yeast Extract which all slow down the aging process and repair any damage.

As you can probably tell I'm somewhat of a fan of Sunday Riley and the next product on my list is the Luna facial oil, which is meant to be incredible.

You can view the entire Sunday Riley range on both Cult Beauty or Space NK.
