Last week I got to meet the one and only Jo Malone where I learnt all about her brand Jo Loves and more importantly the her new Shot Candle. Jo has spent the last 3 years developing the genius idea of the Shot Candle, which lauched earlier last week. The idea is that the customer is taken on a creative experience in which they can customise their own candle by picking 2 bespoke scents, which when they melt into one another create a completely unique and personal fragrance.
To create the candle each customer has a one to one consultation where they choose from a menu of scents. You first choose from the base scent menu and this will be what the main body of the candle is made from then you choose the scent of the ‘shot’, which fits into the base.
For my candle I choose Tahitan Gardenia and Petitgrain, which once the two scents have melted together produce a really rich and deep floral scent. Other scents to picks from are Mint Mojito, Fig Trees, mango and many more so you really can get super creative.
The Shot Candle experience can be found at the Jo Loves Studio in Belgravia and costs £75.
