Kiko Beauty Haul

Kiko Beauty Haul

Even though I live and work in London I’d never actually been to Kiko until this week- crazy I know! I’d recently heard that their products were amazing so I thought it as about time I went to check them out. I was so impressed with the sheer amount of products on display and at how affordable everything was. For example most things were between £5-£10 and they also had offers on various products, I think they currently have an offer on lip liners.

The first thing I picked up was their Volume Top Coat Mascara because I thought the huge brush looked like it would give amazing volume and since trying it out I’ve been so impressed with the volume and length it gives. Next I’d heard great things about their shadow sticks and of them being great dupes for the By Terry ones. They had a huge range of shades and I went for a bronzed brown shade and so far I’m impressed with the longevity of it but didn’t find the colour came out the same on my lids, which was disappointing.

From the lips section I bought a Kiss Balm in the shade Cherry because I thought it could potentially be a dupe for my beloved Clarins Instant Light Lip Balm. The colour pay off is quite pigmented and it feels super moisturising on the lips and I think for the price it’s a really good dupe of the Instant Lip Balms. They had a huge selection of Precision Lip Pencils, which all seemed long lasting as they took a while to rub off my hand, which is always a good sign. I picked up one in the shade Bordeaux which is a really lovely deep rose shade.

I picked up a Soft Light Powder, because I thought it would be good at preventing any oil build up throughout the day, which it is, and it feels so soft on the skin. Lastly I wanted to try one of their Soft Focus Concealers because I thought it looked like it could be a great dupe for the Yves Saint Laurent Touche Eclat, but annoying I got a darker shade than I wanted so I may have to go back and pick up a lighter shade.

After trying out the products I have to say I’m ridiculously impressed with Kiko for both their quality and price. They do some amazing dupes of high end products so I’d definitely recommend having a look if you’re on a tight budget, I know I’ll be going back!
