Winter Beauty Favourites

During the Winter I like to change up my beauty products mostly because my skin gets dry but also because I like to wear darker shades on my nails and lips. The quickest and easier way to change up your make-up for winter is by using a berry lip colour. I’m loving Black Cherry from Revlonat the moment, it’s a really deep berry shade that I think would suit most skin tones. Along with a berry lip I also like wearing dark nail polish, I adore the gel finish polishes from Nails Inc and High Street Kensington is one of my favourite shades.

My skin gets super dry in the winter, especially my legs so I love slathering on a good layer of The Body Shop body butters at night as they’re super hydrating and small amazing. Along with lots of moistuiser I’d noticed that using the Venus ProSkin Sensitive razor* has really helped with my itchy dry legs in the winter.

Dry lips are inevitable during the winter, they’re sore and make your lipstick look flaky. To try and combat this I cannot rave enough aboutReve De Miel from Nuxe, it’s one of my holy grail products and is the most hydrating lip balm I’ve come across. Oh, it also smells liked oranges. I also get dry patches on my face when it gets cold, I know, I was blessed with the dry skin gift. Another one of my holy grail products is the Algae Face Masque from Kiehls, I’ve raved about this enough so I won’t go on, but it’s the most hydrating face mask I’ve come across!

A perfume I fell in love with last winter is Do Son by Dipytque, the only way I can describe the smell is cosy and warming. As soon as I spray it I instantly feel cosy and wintery and this is my favourite time of year to use it.
