Joan Collins Timeless Beauty

Earlier this year Joan Collins released her make-up line called Timeless Beauty and I never know what to expect when trying a celebrity make-up brands but the beauty of this brand really drew me in. The first thing you will notice is how elegant and chic the gold packaging is, they’re definitely the kind of products that you would want displayed on your dressing table.

Nail Polish- Melanie- £13*

Nail Polish- Marylin- £13*

Glorious Gloss- Pearl-£18*

Lipstick- Melanie-£18*

Eyeshadow Quad- Misty Blacks & Silver- £25*

Having not read too many reviews about the range I didn’t really know what to expect but I was pleasantly surprised how good quality the products were. The lipstick is so beautifully creamy and pigmented and I absolutely adore the gold bullet it comes in. I have the shade Melanie which is a really vibrant fuchsia shade. The shade of lipgloss I have it pearl, which it’s such a beautiful iridescent mother of Pearl shade that contains hundreds of tiny glitter particles. I feel like you could apply this over any lipstick to instantly change the look.

Now even though this palette isn’t really my taste in shades I have to mention how amazingly pigmented the shadows are. Normally when I do swatches I need to go over the line a good few times but with these shades it took just one swipe and look how much colour payoff you get!

Next is the nail polishes and I really liked the long handle as it made the application easy but I wasn’t a huge fan of the formula. It was a little gloopy for my liking and the brush was too big for my nails.

Overall I’m actually really impressed with the Joan Collins Timeless Beauty range, I think the quality of most of the products are pretty good and I adore the packaging and how all the products are named after Hollywood Diva’s. There is also a really huge range of products and the make-up brushes look really luxe!
