During the Summer I like to switch up my perfumes to something a little more fruity and fresh as I find it makes me feel a bit happier and in a different mind set to when I have my winter perfumes on. I’d say my favourite summer perfumes are from Marc Jacobs as they’re so light and floral and the bottles are always so fun.

Marc Jacobs Honey has been my favourite summer scent since last summer as it’s such a lovely fruity scent, which I associate with hot summer days.

I recently got the Versace Bright Crystal perfume and aside from the hude diamond glass bottle it’s actually a really beautiful perfume. It contains scents of Pomegrante and lotus flower which give the fruit scent but there’s also musky notes in there which I think add a touch of elegance.

I blogged about my love for the Jo Malone London Blackberry & Bay scent in thispost here and although it’s quite a light and subtle scent I still think it’s beautiful. It doesn’t last as long on the skin as my other perfumes but I find that if I spray it all over and in my hair it tends to linger around a bit longer.

When I think of Caudalie I think of luxury oils and beautifully scented products. Their perfume Divin de Caudalie is such an elegant and  beautiful scent that I tend to wear it in the evening and for dinner. It’s a blend of rose, musk and vanilla and I associate the smell with beautiful oils and pamper sessions.

Lastly is the Eau des Jardins from Clarins, which really is summer in a bottle. It’s a mix of fruits, berries and flowers, which all create a long lasting summery scent.

As you can probably tell I’m a big fan of perfumes so I’d love to hear you summer perfume recommendations!
