June Favourites

I really hate saying 'where has the month gone' but I seriously wonder where this year has gone. I cannot believe we're in July, it feels like December and January were only last month. Anyway, as it's been pretty hot this month I've finally been getting my legs out and I've been all about adding some colour back into my skin. I mentioned the Clarins Instant Smooth Tanning Primer in my favourites from 2013 and I still think it's amazing. I find that it keeps my makeup put all day and develops a really nice colour through the day.

I saw Lily Pebbles talking about the new Topshop Bronzer and I think it's the perfect dupe for Nars Laguna/Benfit Holla. It's a matte bronzer without any shimmer and is the perfect bronzing/contour colour without being too orange. Another bronzing product is the Chantecaille Radiant Gel Bronzer, which I tend to use if I'm feeling a bit pale. It blends beautifully without leaving any marks where you've first applied it.

I mentioned the Pixi Eyeshadow Palette in my Festival Makeup Guide and I think it's going to be a really great one for holiday as it contains browns, golds and green colours that will look beautiful with a tan. Another eye product is the Max Factor Excess Volume Mascara, which I Instagrammed earlier this month. It's amazing at adding both length and volume to the lashes but I'll let the picture above do the talking.

For body I've really gotten back into using an In-Shower Body Moisturiser and I adore the Honey scent from Nivea. My favourite perfume from the month is the Versarce Bright Crystal, despite the garish bottle it's actually a really beautiful summer perfume.

I'm a huge fan of John Frieda hair products as I think they really do what they say on the tin and their Volumeising range is amazing. My favourite from this range is the Thickening Blow Dry Lotion* as I think it adds so much body to my hair.

I hope you're had a lovely June.
