Anniversary At Hakkasan

Saturday marked mine and my boyfriends 2 year anniversary and we really couldn’t decide whether we wanted to go away for the weekend or stay in London.

In the end we decided to stay at home because we really couldn’t pick anywhere in the UK to go and we’re going away to Marrakech in two weeks anyway.

So instead we booked my favourite restaurant in London, Hakkasan and spent the weekend doing Londony things.

My dress was from the ASOS sale for around £17, shoes-Zara and Bag-Whistles

If you’ve been to Hakkasan before you’ll know that the lighting is very dark so I didn’t take too many pictures but let me assure you the food was incredible!

We started with the Salt & Pepper Squid, which was the best squid I’ve ever had, it was almost melt in the mouth and definitely not too chewy. We also had the BBQ ribs and Peaking Duck Spring Rolls, which were also really good.

For the main I always go for the Grilled Chilean Sea Bass in Honey because it’s ridiculously good but this time we had the Stir-Fried Chilean Sea Bass in Truffle Sauce, which was equally as good if you’re a fan of truffle. We also shared the Roast Chicken in Satay with some Vegetable Singapore Vermicelli.

For desert we shared the Strawberry Cheesecake, which wasn’t all the great, but I would recommend the fruit platter.

Look out for tomorrows post as it’s a mixture of fashion and things to do in London.
