Muse of London

Last week I was kindly invited along to the newly opened Muse of London hair salon to have a bit of a hair refresh by the lovely director and fantastic colourist Jason Cooking. Muse of London is a forward thinking colour salon that has also latched onto the idea of speedy express services and offer bleach and root touch up’s at affordable prices. I’ve been at a bit of a loss with my colour for a while now and have wanted to go a bit lighter for summer but wasn’t quite sure what I wanted. Jason was amazing and really listened to what I wanted and gave his expert opinion on what would suit my skin tone and hair type. He suggested we start a process of toning down my hair to it’s natural light brown colour but with added highlights randomly placed around my hair. Similar to Millie Mackintosh’s hair colour, which is fine with me!

Once my highlights were in I headed over to their little break area where you can help yourself to food, drink and all the gossip magazines you like. Oh, and a huge bright yellow Smeg fridge, which unfortunately doesn’t lead to a speak easy bar like the one at the Breakfast Club. Another favourite part of the salon are the massaging chairs you sit one whilst having your hair washed, which add a lovely pampering touch.

Overall I was so impressed with Muse of London and Jason, I felt like he really listened to what I wanted and tried and fine a colour that worked best for me.

You can find their salon on 24 Mortimer Street just behind Tottenham Court Road or call them on 020 7467 9560.
