April Favourites

This past month I feel like I’ve been trying out more new releases than any other months, and most of these haven’t even made it on to the blog yet. Although I’ve been really loving so many things this month I thought I should only include firm favourites that I’ve used throughout the month as this would end of being a really long post.

Firstly is the L’oreal Colour Riche nail polish in the shade Peach Neglige and I’ve been wearing I’d say almost non stop since I got it. I really love the formation of the Colour Riche polishes as they’re really thick so feel and look very gel like and last a really long time. My only issue with them is that for quite a small pot you pay the same amount as you would for a normal sized nail polish. You may have seen my post a few weeks ago about the launch of new Caudalie Polyphenol C15 range, well since then I’ve been using the serum day and night and have found it a really lovely addition to my skincare routine. It’s a really light serum so doesn’t feel too heavy on the skin and sits nicely under the rest of my skincare and make up.

Next is something that hasn’t even made it onto the blog yet (but hold tight as it’s coming soon) and that is a moisturiser from the new Olay Regenerist range. I’d say I’ve been using this moisturiser for way over a month and find it to be so lovely and smooth to apply with an almost primer feel it it. As the range is meant to enhance luminosity in your complexion I’ve found that it adds a really lovely glow to my skin and my make up just seems to look a bit nicer. Another light enhancing product is the L’Oreal Lumi Magique Primer, which I use all over my face but mainly concentrate on the tops of my cheek bones to add some glow. It’s quite a light product and doesn’t really feel like a primer but I mainly like using it for it’s light enhancing purposes.

Last but by no means least is the BB concealer from Smashbox. Now I’m afraid I’ve snuck this one in as it’s not available until May but I just couldn’t resist. I have the lightest shade so it kind of works as a brightener as well as a concealer to brighten the under eye area whilst getting rid of dark circles. It has a really lovely creamy consistency and has pretty good staying power. Again, I’ll be popping up a full review of this soon.

I hope you’re all having a lovely Bank Holiday.
