Taylor Morris Eyewear Launch

Last night I attended a wonderful event at Grace Belgravia for the launch of the Taylor Morris eyewear range. Taylor Morris is an exciting new unisex sunglasses venture between Made in Chelsea’s Hugo Taylor and Charlie Morris, and their aim was to produce stylish and luxurious sunglasses at an affordable price.
As both Hugo and Charlie have a long running passion for sunglasses they knew exactly what they wanted their brand to encapsulate and how they wanted the product to be made. Taylor Morris Eyewear has drawn influence from Hollywood icons like Audrey Hepburn in an effort to encompass glamour and sophistication with timeless elegance. The unique designs of their pieces allows the customers to have their own individuality whilst still being part of a timeless trend. The duo didn't want to just create pieces that looked the part, they also wanted the create iconic sunglasses that were built to last for generations to come. To do this they sourced the finest materials they could find- for the frames they exclusively used an Italian acetate producer with over 150 years’ experience and high quality lenses that protect your eyes whilst still looking fabulous. To be sure the pieces were both comfortable and stylish the pair spend hours scrutinising over the design and fit to produce the perfect frames and finishing touches.

I think all their hard work has definitely paid off- The range features 11 different styles and all of their pieces are both beautifully retro whilst maintain a modern twist. My favourite two designs have to be the Brunel as I love both the shape and tortoise shell finish and the Verdefort as I love that they are a twist on circular frames and think they would be perfect for Fashion Week.
