GlossyBox March

This month’s GlossyBox had a theme of City Chic as all of the products were aimed at beauty on the go, with the idea that if you had any of these products in your bag you’d be ready to take on the world.

In my box I received the Jelly Pong, Pong’s Lip Blush in raspberry, which is meant to both tint and hydrate your lips at the same time. I’m a huge fan of the Topshop lip stains but my only issue with them is that they seem to dry out your lips very quickly so I generally need a good base of Vaseline before a applying. I haven’t used the Jelly Pong lip tint all that much yet but it seems like a really nice product.

I also got a Nails Inc nail varnish and you can never have too much nail varnish.

I also received a handy 100 ml size of TRESemme’s Salon Finish Extra Hold hairspray.

The thing I was most excited to receive was the Fragrance free Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Cream Skin Protectant. I love the eight hour cream and moisturizer but I’m really not a fan of the smell, I think it’s far too strong. You can literally use this product on anything- as a lip balm, for extra cry skin, unruly brows, and to smoothe and moisturise burns. My only qualm about this sample is the size, it’s sooooo tiny and I recently received a sample of the normal eight hour cream and it was a much bigger size than this one.

The last thing in my box was a Juicy Couture’s Couture La La sample perfume, I think these sizes are so handy to have in your handbag, I generally have about 3 to 4 of these in my handbag at any time, ones for both day and night.

This was by far the best box I’ve received from GlossyBox as I was starting to lose a little faith in them.
